PP Series

Lightweight, cordless AC power anywhere you need it. Quiet, seamless AC power for 8-12 hours at a time. Battery can be swapped out in seconds – no tools or heavy lifting required. Enables productivity to happen 24/7.

The PP Series utilizes Newcastle battery’s proprietary Lithium-Iron Phosphate technology delivering a longer life and superior safety features when compared to standard lithium ion or lithium polymer solutions. Unlike these other chemistries, PP Series batteries are not subject to potentially dangerous ignition events even when subjected to overheating or mechanical abuse.

A clever floating ball and prism device fitted to one cell provides a quick visual guide to the state of charge and electrolyte level within the battery. This gives operators a peace of mind that the battery is operating safely and at its peak performance. In addition, a venting port has been provided for emergency ventilation according to EN60095-2 + EN50342.2 2007 item 5.5.3 (see ‘technical specification’ tab).

When the battery charge is depleted, it’s replaced with a fully charged one in seconds without tools or maintenance personnel required.

The PowerSwap Nucleus is a safer alternative to SLA batteries, because it does not produce dangerous hydrogen gas under normal operating conditions.
